These terms and conditions govern your use of this website and the physiotherapy and pilates services provided by Monageer Physiotherapy Clinic Ltd ("the clinic", "we", "us", "our"). By booking an appointment or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not continue to use www.monageerphysio.ie or book an appointment with us.
"Client", "you" and "your" refer to the person using our services or this website. References to the singular, plural, or any gender include the others as the context requires.
About the clinic and our regulation
Our physiotherapists are registered with CORU, the statutory regulator for health and social care professionals in Ireland, and practise in accordance with the standards of proficiency and code of professional conduct set by the Physiotherapists Registration Board.
If you have a concern about the clinical care you received, we encourage you to raise it with us directly in the first instance (see Complaints, below). You also have the right to make a complaint to CORU: CORU, Infinity Building, George's Court, George's Lane, Smithfield, Dublin 7, D07 E98Y.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care or your experience at the clinic, please contact us so we can address it as soon as possible. We take all feedback and complaints seriously and will respond promptly.
Consent to treatment and minors
Physiotherapy treatment is only provided with your informed consent, which your physiotherapist will discuss with you as part of your assessment. Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must provide consent to treatment on the child's behalf.

We use cookies on this website to enable certain functionality and to make it easier to use. By continuing to use this website, you consent to our use of cookies as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect how the website functions.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, Monageer Physiotherapy Clinic Ltd and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights in the content of this website and our social media accounts. You may view content for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you must not republish, sell, rent, sub-license, reproduce, duplicate, copy, or redistribute material from this website or our social media accounts without our prior written permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the law of Ireland.
Subject to the above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. This website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis, and we do not guarantee that the website will always be available or error-free.
This clause does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Linking to this website
Organisations such as government agencies, search engines, and news organisations may link to our homepage without prior approval, provided the link is not deceptive, does not falsely imply our endorsement, and fits the context of the linking site. We may request that a link be removed at any time. Our logo and other artwork may not be used for linking purposes without a separate licence agreement, and our web pages may not be framed (e.g. via iFrames) without our prior written permission.
Reservation of Rights
We reserve the right to request that you remove all links or any particular link to our website or any social media account. You approve to immediately remove all links to this website or any of our social media accounts upon request. We also reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions and its linking policy at any time. By continuing to link to this website or to any of our social media accounts, you agree to be bound to and follow these linking terms and conditions.
Parking
Parking areas near the clinic are free of charge. The clinic is not responsible for any theft of, or damage to, vehicles parked near the premises.
Clinic’s Goals
The patient and their well-being is at the centre of every decision. The patient’s goals and the clinic’s goals are one and the same. The clinic is committed to delivering evidence-based physiotherapy. If a requested treatment or intervention is not supported by current scientific evidence or is not considered clinically appropriate, this will be discussed with the patient, and an alternative evidence-based treatment plan will be recommended. Care is provided using a patient-centred approach, not a patient-directed approach.
Payments
We accept card and cash payments. To book and secure your first appointment, full payment is required at the time of booking if possible, whether booking online or in person. In line with the transparency requirements of the Consumer Protection Act 2007 and the Consumer Rights Act 2022, the price shown at checkout is the full price you pay, with no hidden or additional booking fees.
As our services are healthcare services provided by a registered health professional, they fall outside the statutory 14-day cancellation right that applies to most other online purchases under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 (which implements Article 3(3)(b) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU). Instead, our own cancellation terms, set out below, apply.
If you cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice (see Cancellation Policy, below), your payment will be refunded in full. Because each appointment slot is reserved exclusively for you and cannot normally be offered to another patient at such short notice, if you cancel or reschedule (or don’t show up to your booked appointment) with less than 24 hours' notice, the full appointment fee is retained by the clinic.
If paying in cash, please bring the exact amount where possible, as the clinic may not always have change available.
Your Appointment Time
The clinic is doing its best to start appointments on time. In rare cases when the physiotherapist is delayed for your 30 minute appointment by more than 10 minutes and cannot provide the 30 minutes, you will not be charged for the appointment. If your 60 minute appointment is delayed by 15 minutes and the physiotherapist cannot provide the 60 minutes, you will only be charged for a 30 minute appointment, in case of a longer delay, you will not be charged for the 60 minute appointment.
Cancellation Policy
After the booking is completed, your appointment slot is reserved exclusively for you.
If you wish to make any changes to your appointment, please provide a 24-hour notice by either:
Calling 089 6156 110 or
Replying to the appointment confirmation email or
Booking online and at “Extra info” section of the booking process, write “rescheduled”.
Failure to provide a 24-hour notice will incur a €55 late notice fee in case of a 30 minute Physiotherapy appointment, €70 in case of a 60 minute Physiotherapy or Massage appointment, €50 in case of a 30 minute Massage appointment, and €45 in case of a Video appointment.
Scans & Reports
If necessary, the clinic can provide a referral for an imaging to be done. The patient may be covered for the scan, depending on the patient’s health insurance policy. If the patient is self-funding the scan, they will normally need to pay the full amount, depending on the imaging centre. The reasoning for the referral will always be communicated to the patient and a consent will be sought.
As soon as the report is received by the clinic, the patient will be informed (The CD of the scan cannot be viewed by the Physiotherapist, we must wait for the radiologist’s report). When the patient attends their next appointment, the Physiotherapist will explain the results of the report and what is the next step in their treatment plan. This will depend on the patient’s symptoms and on the severity of the report.
If the report is delayed, the patient is advised to call the MRI centre they attended.
If the report shows no serious / emergent finding, the patient will continue their rehab at the clinic and should they wish so, a consultant referral can be provided.
If the report shows a serious / emergent finding, a consultant referral will be provided to the patient.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute arising from your use of this website or our services, are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may entitle you to bring proceedings in your own country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
